Broccoli Soup – Healthy Creamy Dish full of Nutrients!


This broccoli soup is very healthy, especially for small children, extremely delicious, easy to prepare!


Kids often don’t want to eat all kind of vegetable and often parents can have problems convincing them to eat more kinds of vegetable in just one meal. Well now you won’t have problems with this recipe because it contains a lot of vegetable and seeds useful for our organism, rich in vitamins. You’ll simply have healthy soup recipe that you will make at least 3 times per week from now on.

Ingredients for Broccoli Soup (for 4 persons):
150 g potatoes
150 g carrots
220 g broccoli
40 g mushrooms
One hand of pumpkin seed, linseeds and sunflower seed
olive oil
salt and pepper (or other spices to taste)
First we put 4 cups of water to boil while we cut all ingredients into small pieces and we put them into the pot to boil for 15 minutes (Smaller pieces is better because they will boil faster). Once they are boiled put all pieces in a blender, add salt and spices to taste and olive oil. Mix well in blender and then put everything in the pot. Leave it to boil for 2 more minutes. Here you can add little milk or sour cream if you want. It will be little heavy but if you consider as main dish, kids will need more energy so it’s good choice. If it’s for dinner then you can skip this part. Children will be surprised by the taste, and also adults because it’s really delicious.

Instead of broccoli you can put lentils and you will make lentils cream soup. This is basic recipe. Last time I put at the end of blending process, bunch parsley. Simply delicious!

Serve it hot. It’s great combination after this broccoli soup to serve Rice balls with parmesan cheese and mozzarella.

Or simply with baked slices of bread with yellow cheese on the top.
