*These Outstanding Recipes Are Guaranteed to Make Your Skin Smooth and Radiant in No Time*

Our skin goes through various phases as we age, each phase bringing about many changes in its appearance, elasticity, firmness and color. Some of the common changes that come with age include skin thinning, decreased oil and collagen production, reduced firmness, and the inevitable wrinkle appearance.

There is a wide range of factors that lead to skin wrinkles besides the aging process, like facial muscle contractions, sun damage, and smoking. Read further to find out how each of these affects your skin. Also, below you will find an incredible facial treatment to help you get rid of unwanted facial hair and reduce wrinkles’ visibility.

Facial Muscle Contractions and Wrinkles

aaaaa It is believed that the lines between your eyebrows, also known as frown lines, and the ones jutting from the corner of your eyes, known as crow’s feet, occur due to facial muscle contractions. Thus, squinting, smiling, and frowning increase the visibility of these wrinkles.

Sun Damage and Wrinkles

One of the main factors to blame for your deep, visible wrinkles is long-term exposure to the harmful UV sun rays. Unprotected overexposure to sun causes substantial skin damage. That is why you should avoid the sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and make sure to always use high SPF sunscreen, even on cloudy days and during the winter season.

Smoking and Wrinkles

Quitting smoking can be really difficult for most smokers. However, once you learn how bad it is for both your general health and skin, you will definitely do your best to put an end to your harmful habit.

Collagen is the hard, insoluble, fibrous protein that gives skin its strength and elasticity. When the production of this protein decreases or breaks down, the skin starts losing its firmness and hydration, factors that inevitably lead to the formation of deep wrinkles. Smoking causes decreased collagen production, which then leads to wrinkle appearance.
